First Reconciliation Prep
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is celebrated in the first grade at St. Anthony of Padua.
Requirements for First Reconciliation
- Families of candidates must be registered active members of St. Anthony of Padua Parish.
- A copy of candidate's Baptismal certificate must be on record at St. Anthony of Padua.
- Children must register for sacramental preparation sessions at St. Anthony of Padua, including those attending a Catholic parochial school or the parish Family Faith Formation program
- Children are required to have at least two years of consecutive Faith Formation, whether in a Catholic parochial school or parish Faith Formation program with good attendance, prior to the celebration of the Sacraments.
- Your child will need to register with the parish for Sacramental Prep. Registration form can be found on right side of page follow provided instructions. Links to purchase of books are also provided.
First Reconciliation:
You and your child are encouraged to receive the Sacrament together. This is an opportunity for you to lead your child in their faith development. The final class at the end of the year will also provide an opportunity for your child to make their 1st Reconciliation.
