Helping boys from age 6 to 18 become strong young men with a focus on duty to God, country, and community. Our leaders are well trained and committed to preparing young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and the Scout laws.
Both Cub Scout Pack 311 (ages 6-10) and Boy Scout Troop 311 (ages 11-18) have been in existence for more than 15 years. Troop 311 became a part of St. Anthony of Padua Parish in 2003, attracting boys and leaders from all over east Pasco County. Cub Scout Pack 311 became a part of the parish in early 2017. Many of our pack and troop families are local to the San Antonio area and many are current members of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, and surrounding parishes and churches.
We are open to all faiths and have become strong stewards within the community with many service projects in and around the Eastern Pasco area.
The outdoor program is a very important aspect of Scouting with different events (camping, hiking, swimming, cooking, canoeing, water sports, etc.) planned monthly. Pack and Troop meetings are held weekly at St. Anthony and consist of many exciting indoor and outdoor activities.
Our main fundraisers each year help us to pay for the various opportunities for both groups, (popcorn sales, car washes, annual yard sale, annual spaghetti dinner, and more). These allow us to provide special events like, summer camps, special weekend events, etc., providing a strong interactive program.
Boys and parents are always encouraged to take a look at our programs. Come and join the fun! If you are interested in learning more, please contact us:
